Vana Giannoula
costume design / making
Vana Giannoula is a costume designer and maker for theatre and film. After her MA in Costume Design for Performance at London College of Fashion she was a resident at the Watermill Centre Laboratory for Performance in New York, under the artistic guidance of Robert Wilson. Her work is a constant experimentation of materials and techniques with a great interest of how costume participates and contributes to contemporary performance. Her recent film credits include: Beauty & the Beast (2017), Tarzan (2016), Cinderella (2015), Testament of Youth (2015) & Jupiter Ascending (2015). She has also designed and realised costumes for several theatre productions, short films and videoclips.
